Open Soil Science and Environment (OSSE) is a periodical publication from the Research and Social Study Institute (RESSI) collaboration with PT Perorangan Mutimedia Jaya Abadi (Publisher Company). Published bi-annually, the journal bridges an effective communication and dissemination of research in Soil Science and Environment.

This journal integrates multidisciplinary studies i.e. physics, chemistry, biology, hydrology, geology, and other combination of those studies that are relevant to understanding soil ecosystem. soil ecosystem cover all forms of soil bodies within the boundaries of the land. This Its coverage reflects the multidisciplinary nature of soil science, and focuses on studies that take account of the dynamics and spatial heterogeneity of processes in soil. Basic studies of the physical, chemical, biochemical, and biological properties of soil, innovations in soil analysis,   soil and water conservation, hydrology, pollution control, waste management and remediation of hazards.
